Stress/anxiety related issues

I think I’d like to delve into stress/anxiety related habits or if a person does or does not perceive the stopping of the habit as an anxiety issue.   Smoking and slimming diets are both anxiety based and yet the individual sees the thing they are trying to give up as the issue when really it is the anxiety they don’t wish to feel. If you really don’t want something why would you feel anxious not to have it? If you actually do want to give up smoking, there is no anxiety attached once you have done it.

Is that true?

I’ll look into it, and will keep you posted…
